Of all the wishes we grant, our greatest wish right now is for the health and safety of our loved ones, our wish children and their families, and our community. In light of current medical and public concerns, we are taking necessary steps to ensure the health and safety of all Indiana Children’s Wish Fund kids and their families, as well as our loyal supporters.
At this time, we have made the difficult decision to postpone all wish travel, as well as wish kid participation in all activities and events related to Indiana Children’s Wish Fund, until further notice. This includes our biggest annual fundraiser, the Republic Airways Plane Pull in memory of Tyler Frenzel, one of our Wish Kids.
As springtime and early summer are our busiest times for granting wishes, we estimate that up to half of our yearly wish total may be delayed by COVID-19 related postponements.
We are committed to continuing to give hope and spread joy to our wish children. Your commitment to wish children and families is critical – particularly now. Because of COVID-19 postponements, there will be more wish kids waiting for wishes than ever before. Your help today will bring hope and joy to wish kids in your community. In our 36 years of serving families, this is like nothing we have ever experienced we and are navigating this along with each of you.
The tremendous, positive financial impact of the Republic Airways Plane Pull Fundraiser will be sorely missed over the next several months, and thus we are looking for support from you. In honor of serving our Indiana wish families over the past 36 years, we are launching our 36 for 36 campaign. Can you donate $36 to help ensure our wish children will get their wish granted?
