This past year has been extremely rough for Wyatt Rathfon and family of Goodland. This past November, Wyatt lost his sister and then in March he was diagnosed with a germinoma brain tumor.

However, Wyatt, who turned 17 in May, is determined not to let his illness slow him down, and on Monday (Aug. 27) he was surprised by the Indiana Children’s Wish Fund.

“Wyatt enjoys anything and everything dealing with agriculture and being outside,” said his father Clint Rathfon. “He really likes mowing the yard, and working in the field. It is an escape for him.”
